Kaohsiung is enjoying a new lease of life with thousands of tourists flocking to the city’s sights each month. But all of those hungry locals and visitors need a good place for a cup of coffee, and luckily for them, the city is full of such places. And hard as it was to compile, given that there are so many fantastic places in Kaohsiung, here’s a list of the city’s best cafés.

每個月來高雄旅遊的觀光客有上千人之多，因為對於觀光客來說，高雄就像是避開日常繁忙生活的聖地；又或者像是中國古代皇帝要避暑時，都會到熱河山莊享受那樣清涼舒暢的時光。雖然高雄地區有非常多的景點，但對於很喜歡享用美食或是咖啡因的人來說，總是需要一個地方好好坐著填滿食慾。很幸運的是，這個城市到處都有咖啡廳。也就是說，找到咖啡廳並不難，難的是找到一間好的咖啡廳。那麼到底有哪幾間好的咖啡廳呢？別擔心，也不需要花太多的時間搜尋，接下來在這篇文章裡，我會推薦幾間個人認為具有水準的店家給大家做參考。

TRIBBIANI CAFÉ 脆阿尼咖啡

The rather unusually named Tribbiani Café is the first place on our list, and it’s a good one. This lively café has a great coffee menu and some incredible light snacks and desserts. The place is vibrant yet strangely relaxing, as everyone, staff and regular customers included, all seem to be super friendly. There’s also a small terrace at the front if you fancy sitting outside, a rare sight in the city.

第一間我個人最想推薦給大家的咖啡廳，是店名相當特別的脆阿尼咖啡。這間咖啡廳提供了各式各樣相當具有水準的咖啡飲品，另外也有提供美味的輕食及吮指的甜點。除了食物外，店家的服務相當熱情和友善，無論是這裡的員工還是一般的客人，都讓我這個外地來的客人感到放鬆，很容易就可以卸下心防。除了室內的座位外，脆阿尼的店外也有個小的陽台，也可以在外面坐著用餐喔。

You could easily describe this place as a haven for artists, as it has that bohemian air about it. Sit upstairs on the floor cushions or relax downstairs with the friendly staff and owner. It’s a popular café and with such great coffee and delicious desserts, it’s easy to see why. And if you like cats, then the café’s black is only too happy to keep you company.

當您一走進店裡，您可能會覺得路人咖啡是藝術家的聖地，因為它本身具有波西米亞的氣息，講得白話點，就是這個地方有著清新脫俗的感覺。如果您喜歡跟這裡的人互動的話，這裡就相當地適合您前往，無論是坐樓上的榻榻米還是待在樓下，都能有很多的機會跟這邊的人作良好的互動。除了氣氛外，這裡的咖啡相當地受到歡迎，而且來這邊絕對不能錯過甜點，如果還是不清楚的話，來這裡就對了。另外如果您是個貓奴的話，正好路人咖啡裡有店貓，可以陪伴您渡過與咖啡的時光。

Parlare Coffee is a lively café with a great vibe, where you can sit and enjoy a chat with your friends or the staff. The light meals are delicious, and there’s a nice variety of drinks, both tea and coffee, on the menu. But the one thing that guests comment on the most is the top-class service provided by the staff. They really care about their customers and are glad to help out in any way that they can.

怕喇咧咖啡是氣氛相當棒的一間咖啡廳，很適合約朋友來這邊喝下午茶聊天或是跟這裡的服務人員話家常。此外，這裡有提供美味的輕食、各式各樣的飲品，像是茶飲或是咖啡，在菜單上都能找到。不過，這間店最讓人印象深刻的，不是前面所提到的這些，而是有著最好的服務品質。這裡的服務人員都相當重視每一位到訪的客人，當客人需要幫忙時，在能力範圍內都很熱意去協助他們。

Aroma Caf’e Live is one of the stalwarts of the Kaohsiung coffee scene. They’ve been open for a decade and are still keeping customers happy with their delightfully innovative desserts and cakes. As for the coffee, well, you can’t stay open this long unless you’re serving up the very best. For coffee lovers that like a friendly environment where you can chat with the owners, this is a must-visit café.

香氣現場在高雄眾多的咖啡廳中，簡直就是萬綠叢中一點紅。香氣現場，這間在高雄已營業長達近十年的時間，十年如一日，依然保持著營業的熱忱，在食物和服務都讓客人相當地滿意。好像講了太多浮誇的詞了，不過沒辦法，用文字實在還是無法表達本人對它的喜愛。

香氣現場也有提供好喝的咖啡飲品，所以如果喜歡喝咖啡的話，絕對不能錯過這間店喔。

BALMY CAFÉ 馞咖啡-光華店

Balmy Café has a great menu with all the usual favorites on offer and a nicely varied snack and dessert menu. The most impressive thing about this place, though, is the tasteful décor with dim lighting and incredibly comfy sofas. There’s also a pretty eclectic collection of cups and mugs that’s quite interesting.

馞咖啡-光華店供應了許多常見的鹹甜食及飲品，儘管都是常見的品項，但都非常具有特色。此外最讓人印象深刻的是昏暗的燈光、相當舒適的沙發，還有如果對於各種的杯子有興趣的朋友，不訪來這邊看看喔。

GAVAGAI CAFÉ

Serving up superb coffee and a decent range of cakes and light snacks, Gavagai Café is a quiet café located in a nice neighborhood that’s just a short walk from Love River. The customers at this place are most impressed by the staff and owner who go well above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that you are comfy and enjoying your coffee.

GAVAGAI CAFÉ是一間相當幽靜的咖啡廳，就地理位置來說，坐落於高雄的住宅區裡，走一小段路就能到愛河河畔，難怪GAVAGAI CAFÉ是個能讓人放鬆的好去處。

GAVAGAI CAFE'提供了極具風味的咖啡、可口的蛋糕及輕食。與前面的店家並無二致，同樣都有態度良好和友善的服務人員，相當具有人情味，所以如果在旅途中，想者個可以一解身心疲憊的地方，來GAVAGAI就對了。

DO GOOD COFFEE & DESSERT

A wonderful little spot that does a great line in sweet desserts – and the coffee’s pretty good, too. It’s a small cozy little place with friendly staff that like to keep the place as quiet and relaxing as possible. You won’t find anyone yapping into their phone here, making it the perfect spot for an afternoon nap. Well, not really, but you’ll feel so relaxed you just might nod off.

Do good coffee & dessert這間店雖然空間不大，但有供應各式各樣令人回味的甜點跟咖啡。這裡就像是待在家裡一樣都有著溫馨舒適的感覺，怕太吵的朋友，可以來這邊享受一下這裡獨有的寧靜時光。因為您不會看到有任何人像長舌婦一樣，嘰哩瓜拉地講著電話。您只需要擔心會不會在這邊不小心睡著而已。
